NIHR conducted a field visit to the Correction and Rehabilitation Center (Juvenile Convicts Section)

Based on the mandate of the National Institution for Human Rights to protect and promote human rights, and under the authority granted by its establishing law, the Detention and Facilities Visitation Committee conducted an inspection visit to the Pre-trial Detention Center in the Dry Dock area (Juvenile Convicts Section), located in the Al Hidd region.
During the visit, the committee evaluated the educational conditions of the inmates and verified the arrangements for conducting final examinations. They also met with several inmates, listened to their requests, recorded their observations, and prepared appropriate recommendations to be submitted to the relevant authorities.
